2001 leak in gas tank at fill tube

I have a leak in the gasket where the fill tube goes in to the gas tank. Is there any way to fix this without having to drop the tank?

i have the same thing to repair and no it is better to drop the tank is what im told so you dont risk cutting or tearing the new one. there are actually quite a few threads if you do a search
