Default 13 mpg in my Mustang

my 2004 v6 is gettin only 12-13 mpg. I just got the air filter, fuel filter and transmission fluid flushed and coolant flushed so I'm hopin theres a difference. Have any of you ever used that fuel octane stuff or fuel injector cleaner or crap that you dump into your tank and gotten a difference in anything? thx
btw- It only has 28000 miles on it

wow 12-13mpg on a v6? are you drivin the hell out of it or what? octane booster and fuel injector cleaner both are a rip off. the booster isn't going to give you any noticeable power or added mpg. same with the injector cleaner. it could end up clogging your injectors enough to even get worse mpg. your best bet is to just use good gas shell and chevron all the way

I think its called Seafoam. You can get it at an auto parts store, its in a white and red can. A lot of mechanics swear by it as a solid fuel injector cleaner. Only use it once/twice a year though.
