Default Squealing sound in 2003 Ford Mustang Convertible(V6)

I have this sound for over a month for now. The belt has been replaced, but the sound is still there. After more than a week the sound is not persistent anymore. I took the car to a dealership again, but without the sound present they cannot diagnose the problem.. What other most common causes of the sound? The sound was always present when just starting a car in the morning, but for last 2 days, it’s not happening anymore. Any ideas? The sound is quite loud and annoying. Any help would be greately appreciated

Do you use your AC and defroster? A slight bind on the AC compressor could make the sound. If you narrow it down to that, go to Autozone or Advance and put 1 can of oilcharge into your AC compressor and let it run with the AC on max with the fan on high for about 10 minutes.....

My 2000 v6 is also making noise even after I changed the belt but it is more of a chirping noise that comes and goes and sometimes squeals.

it does have a clutch, but the sound is there regardless of whether the clutch is depressed or not.

check if the pulleys are glazed, and that no fluids are leaking onto the belt...other than that, the belt could have improper tension or one of your accessories may be siezing....

Well, this sounds familiar. My 2002 does this and I have been blaming the starter myself. I have yet to actually formally diagnose this, but it is from either the starter or clutch. As far as I am concerned, the car is functioning normal and the sound comes and goes so I am gonna let it get worse before I fix mine.

metal to metal and worn bearings typically make a squeek/or chirping sound, but i've never heard them make a "metal-to-rubber" kind of sound (squeel)
