Default Intake manifold swap

I am new to this site but waqs wondering if anyone has tried to put a upper and lower intake manifold from a 99+ muastang v6 on a 95-98 v6 engine. If so would it be worth the trouble? I figured the SPI would be a good way to get some extra power.

You need the heads too as part of a split-port swap.....

It's not just the intake, you have to swap the heads, intake, and pcm for the IMRC. It's been done before, but I think its too much work for what your going to get out of it.

well if im not going that route then what would be a cost effctive way to get my engine to around 200 hp at the flywheel without using turbos nitrous or blowers etc. round about estimates would be appreciated. Thanks

by the way i have relative with ahop so i can do 99% of the labor myself so im really looking a prices for parts.

The easiest way would be the head/intake swap that they were talking about or the M90 swap from a Thunderbird.

The split-port swap will run you around $800 if you get it from SSM or you can source your own parts from a junkyard and do it cheaper. That would get you the extra 40hp that they come with. The M90 supercharger would come off of the Thunderbird SC and would give you 215hp 320trq. and would depend on how much you could get the kit for online from certain people.

Don't forget, they have forged internals to handle the M90.

No PCM for the IMRC's if he goes with a 99-00 lower intake Stalker.....

You will also need larger injectors and a dynotune to make it safe.....

Learn new stuff about 6 bangers everyday

PS. thats what happens when you break your actual "hot rod" or "toy" and can't afford to fix it, you start thinking about what you can do to your daily driver, when you really should just leave it alone, lol
