Default Gears Decission

Its another gear thread yes, but i have done some searching on the site but still can't decide on the gears that would suit me the best. I have an 2002 v6 auto with some bolt-ons (sig).
In town, speed limit is 35 and i don't get into OD with the auto, but at 40 it does get into OD so i figure getting a higher ratio would get me into OD, there for actually saving gas.
My girl lives in the country, so i go between 50 and 60 to her house and to get to the near-by "city" (actually just a bigger town haha) its anywhere between 35 and 55. I rarely travel highway.
I was thinking about getting 3.73 gears and t-loc. I want to have good gas mileage since it is my daily driver but also a little more get-up-and-go. I'm running low 16's: would the 3.73's get me into the 15's? If i do decide on gears, I will be getting a SCT Tuner as well. I know there are a lot of gear threads but i couldn't decide what to do. What do some of you more knowledgeable v6 guys think?

I recommend that you get 3.73 gears. Regardless whether you install them or have a shop do it, I suggest that you use Royal Purple Max Gear 75w90 gear oil in your differential.

Like I said before. I think the 3:73's are a good all around gear.

I would also get a tuner and use smaller, lighter rims at the track......
