Question 97 v6 question to people who know more than me

okay i have a 97 stang with a 3.8 and i ordered a cold air intake and a hurst shifter ...is there anything that i can do that is fairly inexpensive that will make my car run better

Gears and t-lock are a great mod for the 94-98's......

an induction cleaning, or "seafoaming", as some of you call it; slightly better throttle response.
i'd also recommend cleaning the fuel injectors.
how old is your fuel filter?
how old are your spark plugs?
when's the last time you changed your trans.fluid/atf?

You could do the throttle cable tightening mod. It doesn't increase hp or anything but it does put the gas pedal even with the brake and clutch pedal instead of below it.

They are at the top of the page. I went through GEF Racing for my old Ford t-lock, but Summit Racing also has them. Art's Performance too.

i change all my fluids and stuff every 3,000 miles im just kinda lookin for stuff thats not too expensive to give it some extra nuts to make me forget im drivin a v6 and not a v8 hahahahah
