Default Mach audio all messed up

Some numpty has wired the stereo badly.

I have mach tweaters in the front, a pinioneer head, with an amy (can't remember the brand).

There are also four speakers in the back (on the shelf) which have been spliced together that are running into the amp, I think they are two subs and two tweaters there.

If I fade my stereo to the back, I get nothing. No right output. And on the left, only the door speaker is working, not the tweater.

So I'd like to trace the wiring back from the tweaters and door speakers as I think these have been spliced together somewhere, and run them to the back seperately and take it from from there.

The amp doesn't really have enough outputs but I don't mind merging a number of speakers into the same chanel i'm not too crazy on sound quality just as long as it plays and I get some front / rear adjustment and sound out of all speakers.

Sorry I type too quickly it's another long winded one!

So my question is - how should I trace the wires from the door speakers and tweaters - I havn't got a clue where to start really. Where do the wires run, i'm guessing under the carpet somewhere but I can't see where and don't want to start pulling things apart if I can avoid it.

Thanks,
Mark.

Default

took my door panel off today - first time taking a door panel off pretty easy.

got it all working. apart from tweeter, no speaker inside one of them.

but I can't fade to rear speakers because everything is going through my amp, not sure what to do about that shall I wire my front speakers through my rear speaker connections on my head unit? only my head currently only seems to fades to the front, which is driven from the amp?

thanks
