Default 2004 Mustang new exhaust question

Does anyone agree that this is a good price to performance ratio for the exhaust system? >> http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-...0%5E1%5E359.99 Thanks for the help!

Yes it is, free shipping plus your forum discount. I don't see why not.

great, thanks! I'm hoping that this exhaust teamed with a new CAI will make my car sound much better than stock...

You won't get much, or any performance gains with that exhaust system because it still goes through your y-pipe, which is a bottleneck.

Just an FYI.......

well all the reviews for the product said they noticed an increase in HP. One even said they noticed an increase in MPG. I'm just not sure if it's worth an extra $150 to go to true dual exhaust. what do you think?

Go with the duals. Opening up the exhaust now will benefit mods later on because the car can breathe better. Duals are what makes for better flow, which makes more horse power. I haven't heard anyone ever complain about going duals, only people who wish they would have.

You'll get a better exhaust tone, better mpg (depending how you drive), a slight gain in power (it may feel like a lot but put her on the dyno and you'll see) A CAI is a great addition, it'll add a little bit of power and sound

this is the new CAI I bought >> Mustang V6 Cold Air Intake Kit at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!. I've also come to the conclusion that I would rather do duals, and this is what I've come up with: these duals >> Pypes 409 Stainless Steel Violator Catback with Polished 304 Tips (98-04 GT/Mach 1) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!, and one of these two mid pipes >> Pypes 409 Stainless Steel Off-Road Shorty H-pipe (96-04 GT) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! or V6 Dual Exhaust adapter kit at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!... problem is I don't even know if the Pypes mid pipe will work on my V6 cause it's made for a GT...

I have that adapter kit and the Pypes violator cat back and i could not be happier. I did it in the garage with the help of the my father, and we got it finished in a day, we would have been done even sooner if we were not such perfectionists. At first the pypes are a little weird sounding but give them some time to break in and wow do they sound sweet!
