Default 2000 mustang exhaust suggestions

hey everyone im thinking about putting duel exhaust on my 2000 v6 mustang. i was thinking about putting a h-pipe adapter which would allow me to put GT exhaust on my v6. does this sound like a good idea. im open to all suggestions

I have something like that. Cut the Y off an then put on the H section then hook up a GT cat back. The conversion worked out well for me.

I'm pretty sure if you keep the cats you won't lose torque.

I am kinda in the same situation you are, and personally I have decided to go with the h-pipe adapter and this catback >> MAC Cat Back with 3" Tips 1994-04 Mustang V6 - TK7995. I have been hearing a lot of good things about MAC, and someone showed me this website (1994-04 Mustang V6 Cat-backs) for a lot of good catbacks. You can listen to the sounds for some of them on there too. Good luck! and I'd be interested to hear what you decide as well, because there is probably a good chance I could change my mind for my choice... AGAIN! lol.

That will work fine for you.

That was the first exhaust route I took.
