how on the world do i remove the stock stereo from my 08 v6 mustang. having trouble. any ideas

-Remove the shifter knob and boot.
-Open the arm rest and remove 2 phillipps screws.
-Lift the center console and remove.
-Pull towards rear of the car the 2 side plates on center console on either side of radio.
-Remove 6 visible 7mm headed hex screws.
-Reach in from sides and disconnect wiring going to heater controls. both sides.
-Pull out the center panel far enough to disconnect the wiring from power outlet, srs + hazard light switch.
-You now have access to the radio.
