Default 99 fender emblem removal

all right guys i need some help here i have a 99 mustang and i want to remove the 35th ann emblems because im gonna be putting something in its place, can anyone help me out as to how i can get them off?? any help would be appreciated thanks.

o and if ur wondering wat i want to put in the place of the emblems this is it.

more than likely they are taped on. tape off around the emblem and very carefully go around the edge of the emblem and pry on it. take your time.

If you want to take your emblems off there are two ways to do it. One is with a credit card and the other is with fishing line. If you use the fishing line you can just go back and forth behind the badge till it comes off. There are usually two pins that line the badge up. Easy stuff to do.

yea for my car im going for the barricade theme.

i thought the emblems were bolted on there or are they taped? if they are bolted on the fender how would i go about reaching them and will a credit card or fishing line really work to get em off?

They are double sided taped on. But, there are holes in the fender which were used to line up the badges. On mine they werent perfectly flat holes either, they were a bit raised. I would have to say the stickers may not cover them up as nicely as you would like. But i used fishing line to get my one side off to re-tape it
