Default Need some mod advice, 2002 Mustang V6

I currently own a 2002 V6 Mustang Coupe and I'm getting a mod bug. I've done a lot of research on bolt on items, but I want to know about internals. Here are my plans - buy a stroker kit, stage 3 heads, supercharger w/ m112 adapter plate, headers, and a camshaft. I'm new to modding cars. So, my main question is where can I find these products and What am i forgeting. I want to acheive the 400 rwhp goal so ANY advice on how to get there would be nice.

Power is always nice. But I'd also look into getting a suspenion upgrade. If you cant get the power to the ground it's useless!!

What's your budget because the list can go on and on?
Do you have a man. or auto trans?
If you have a auto you should look into getting a stall converter and a different shift kit.
A tuner is going to be one of your best friends when you do this so I'd look at getting one also.

Getting a 8.8 rear end will help better then the 7.5you have in it now along with gears( but a 7.5 will be fine for now) . Fule pump ect.

When I look for parts I tend to go to summit racing. Yes it's alittle bit more then American mucle. But I've been going to then for a few years now.
You can also look into jegs.com

I'd say make a list of what you want.
Like what kinda of heads not just "stage 3". Post them all on here and you'll get some yea or nea on it if it's a part you should go with.

Currently my budget is around $6,000. But by the time I get all the information I need before I buy, it could be as high as $7,500. My mustang is has an automatic transmission. I can hardly find any good parts from summit racing. All I ever see is 4.6L or 5.4L performance parts. Supersixmotorsports has a good selection. of parts though. Even the adapter plate for the M112 supercharger. If you know of any, I'd be glad to know. I' kind of a noob at this so any information is gladly appreciated.

Well ...... If your going to do the M112 Setup contact either LilRoush or Mysteed on 3.8mustang.com and they can sell you a whole complete kit for the M112. I myself plan on doing the same thing.

Also if you get the H/C/I (stage 3) be aware thats going to be A LOT of power on stock internals so you might want to go ahead and get forged internals for all that power.

The M112 alone will net you around 300RWHP. With the stage 3 im sure a lot more lol.

if you want 400rwhp+ and decide to go the M112 route; things you'll need (along with a few other bits and pieces) include:
an m112,an adapter plate, bigger fuel injectors, bigger fuel pump,MAF sensor, an H/C/I setup, forged pistons/rods/crank, a methanol or nitrous kit will be needed for an intercooling purposes,a dynotune, and you'll need a cowl hood with a rise of at least 3-1/2 inches to clear the blower. thats just to MAKE the power. your drivetrain will need to be upgraded along with your suspension if you want to make use of the power. the list goes on and on and on. i recommend starting with an H/C/I setup and prepping the rest of the powertrain/suspension for FI.
good luck & welcome to AFM
