Question 2002 Mustang Steering Wheel, I need a Hub Adapter.

Hi, this is my first post here, Hope I did'nt do anything wrong in the posting...

I just bought a Zen Motorsports "Mug Battle Wheel" from eBay, and the seller told me I need a Hub Adapter. Does anyone have an extra one I can have or know where I can get one? Also I want to mount the steering wheel closer to me. I am a tall guy and I'm sitting all the way back in the seat but the reach to the wheel is unbearable... Can anyone recommend something to help me out there too please...

You should've gone and asked the seller to link you to a site where you could get one...

It's not very smart buying something from someone that you end up buying something else just so it'll fit, the whole package should be there...

Hey buddy, I just not two days ago ordered the battle steering wheel for my 95 from zen motorsports on ebay. I was told that a MOMO adapter kit would work. Stil waiting for it to come in to know for sure. You can buy it on americanmuscle.com for $72.99 MOMO Mustang Steering Wheel Hub (84-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!
The only hitch is, and I spoke with some tech guys at americanmuscle is you'll need to find a pre-1990 horn adapter for the horn to work. americanmuscle doesn't have any. Check around online and at you junkyards and parts stores, you can find one. As far as extending it, MOMO does sell extentions if you need one I'm pretty sure. Hope this helps.

Default Universal JDM Style Slim Thin Quick Release Hub

Found this on eBay: Universal JDM Style Slim Thin Quick Release Hub

it's selling for $15 and in the Title, I'm going to get this, maybe it will add a few inches to get the wheel closer to me...

Any luck finding a cheaper adapter?

Good luck man. Just got an email from zenmotorsports that the steering wheel i ordered was damaged and there last one. So i'm SOL. I'll probably get either a Grant or a MOMO now. Anybody have any experience with either with complaints or praises?

Default Draghon, work out ok?

I am wondering if you like that set up? I too have a problem with the steering wheel position in my 99 GT. I have been searching for a solution that allows for me to keep the stock wheel w/ air bag. However, no luck there. Anyone have any ideas?

LOVIN' IT! Though the turn signal is a bit far away now... umm I do need help again though... seems I can't use my cruise control nor horn anymore... instead of wires, I found a ribbon... I'm going to a pro to see how much to fix that... unless someone here has the solution...

Ford Racing has one that is called the FR500 but I don't know if it is smaller or bigger... I only know the grip is bigger... installation guide I used for uninstalling my OG wheel.... http://www.fnsweet.com/garage/fr500/index.shtml (IT HAS PICTURES!!! LOL) (You don't need a wheel puller... push on the floor with your feet and wiggle it side to side as hard as you can while pulling... OK that sounded nasty)

The hub adapter in conjunction with the quick release brought the wheel in a nice spot (closer) to me but it could do 1 more inch... the Hub more or less gives the wheel an OEM distance but the Quick Release added another 3-4 inches, which I like...
