Default 2002 mustang airbag sensor location

Hi guys!

I have to do some work on my front end and i dont want to be bangging in the wrong spot! anyone know where the front sensors are?

Look for a tube as a design that would implode into itself is that collapse needs to trigger to ground which sets the bag hot to burn your face is rip it.

Is it on top of frame rail just under the air cleaner and under the battery tray??

Don't know if this helps, but I have a 97 and they are on the right and left side of the radiator next to the headlights.

Disconnect the battery, wait for a half hour to let the capacitor discharge and you got nothing to worry about.
