Default How to install a white face gauge with glow connection

i need help on how to install the white face gauge glow connection?Any body has an idea pls help..

tap the pwr wire from the black box into the solid brown wire in the harness behind light switch on panel. that gives the pwr. then connect the ground to a bolt under the dash. just make sure you have a good ground connection. then hook up gauges to the black pwr box. and you done.

need more clarification ask specific questions and im sure we can help

Thank you so much white stangs.i havent open my light switch harness,I assume that solid brown wire will be the power for 96 V6 Mustang?Is that the power supply for headlight and dash light?

yep. once you pull out the gauge console, then youll see the light switch housing. there are many wires going into it. splice into the solid brown one. it gives you the pwr. then just plug and chug. not too bad.


word of advice do it after dark and/or inside. you will never see the glow in the light and may think they dont work. we did it to mine. went back out that night hooked up the same way and BINGO!

now i gotta buy some new ones. mine quit working.
