You might not feel a difference with just 1 minor bolt on, but if you add up the dual exhaust, CAI, Long tubes, UDP, and a tune, you will. Plus it sounds better. Or he could go completely cosmetic like you, and keep getting dusted by civics all day. Please start calling "2 pipes" "true duals". There also is no difference in horsepower gained or lost between an aftermarket exhaust or a custom made one. IF there is, its to minior to notice.

A lot better. I had my duals custom made for $190 (H pipe) including install. I bought some used flowmasters for $80 off a friend. GL with whatever you decide to do man. Let us know when you get em and get a sound clip too.

Yeah, I couldn't believe the difference in sound my flowmasters made. I don't have a mid pipe, either.

I would go against glasspacks... they will just be really loud an annoying, imo. Go with Flowmasters, Pypes, Borlas or another chambered muffler for a better (more muscle-car) sound.

For sound: H-pipe will be deeper and X-pipe more raspy.
For performance: the X-pipe is supposed to make better hp gains at higher rpm, since gases are exiting faster and can't make the 90-deg turn of the H-pipe. IDK how much, but it's minimal for our sixers. Overall, a good exhaust system should give you 15-25 hp, depending on what else you have modded.

What performance mods have you done, besides wish for a GT? This guys asking legit questions about exhaust and you come off spouting about "2 pipes"? Try to add to the conversation: we are supposed to be supporting each other here on AFM.

You know what's even more ignorant? Not wanting to be taught. We try to teach you the correct terminology so you can actually help people ,like you seem so eager to do. Yet, you choose no to listen. I don't claim to know much, but if i say something wrong and someone corrects me, I take it and learn from it so I won't pass on false information. I also don't comment on things that I don't know about.

Ok you do and say whatever you want and i will do the same... I just heard shinnerstang and K-7 to take this the right way so that's what i will do, also if somebody is wrong you don't have to say it that way.
