Default 2000 Mustang V6 3.8 Cold Air Intake

I have no idea what cold air intake would work best for the price for my car
My car is a 2000 V6 3.8 Mustang with True Duals Flow Masters and Headers. What would work best for me from this site?
99-04 Mustang Cold Air Intakes at AmericanMuscle - Free Shipping!

Thanks for the help.
Joe

Also, What is a good idea to get more power out of my car? I get tired of it a lot, because it seems really slow and I don't have a lot of cash.

yeah, ebay, bbk, americanmuscle, they're all the same. i would go with the cheapest one from american muscle.
a windstar intake would give you a little more push, around 15hp/15ftlbs, for pretty cheap.
Nice Color!

if your on a budget like most of us, you can source all the parts you need from a junkyard, i dont know the complete parts list, but it includes finding a ford windstar split-port upper intake manifold, throttle body, cai, IAC, TPS, and doin some slight fabrication for ignition coil mounting/throttle cable brackets. VAP auto makes a complete kit for $400; thats probably what im going to end up doing, less headache for me.

keep in mind if you do source the parts from a junkyard, you will have to buy a new hood that has a rise to clear the intake, however VAP's kits let you keep your stock hood.

well, the windstar upper intake i just wrote about will give you around 15hp/15ftlbs, and if you get a cold air intake also, it'll be a little more. if your getting a new hood anyway, you might be better off getting your parts from a junkyard, much cheaper that way. pm "shinerstang", he knows windstar intakes top to bottom, he can also walk you through the install and tell you what you need.

You can keep your stock hood with a Windstar intake. You just need to do a remote IAC fabrication which requires a couple vacuum lines and a bracket.

For anyone wanting to do this. Please look around in the talk section under mine and stalkerstang's threads. It will give you the needed information. I have too many PM's asking the same thing. Thanks, don't mean to be a PITA, but help me out here guys.....

What would i need to do if i bought the kit straight up?
because if i go all out and get a CAI and the windstar kit i dont want to have to spend more money on other stuff and have to be smart and get stuff from a junk yard haha

I have the AM cai. It's been on for over a year and I've never had a problem with it. Looks great, too.

Don't know what a power intake is - where did you see this? A ram intake is one that points forward and at high speeds, the air "rams" into this intake. A CAI will be better since it gets air from a colder source; also, you will not reach the speeds you need to make a ram-air effective with just city driving...
That being said, AM or Mrbodykit's CAI are both great!

if you buy the VAP kit, that includes everything you need. dont buy a cai for your mustang because it wont fit when you put your windstar manifold on. the VAP kit comes with a cai, but you'll need to buy a filter. should cost like $40 from autozone, etc.

I used my Ebay CAI and added a straight 6" piece to it and it worked fine.......
