the 275's on the rear look great. imho.
ok so what do u mean by rolling resistance? does that decrease my MPG? or is it bad for the car itself? and weight for me doesnt make a diff... i need more weight in the back so my tires dont spin in the rain every time i lightly tap the gas

It'll slow your car down and probably take a bit more gas because your engine has to work harder to turn the much heavier wheels.

by extra rolling resistance, i meant that the tires are much wider so theres a lot more rubber in contact with the road; which creates more drag, basically.

315's are overkill for a stock V6.

Nice. Be sure to post some pictures once you do get them. You could always try to find some nice take-off rims, too, if that's your taste.

Ok small change in plans with the wheels.
realized that the tires i had picked out earlier only get 15000 miles and thats a year for me. $500 a year is kinda outragous.

so i need some help on researching for some tires that will last long, and fit the sizings of 245-45-17, and 275-40-17(i would like drag radial on the 275's but if not possible then it doesnt really matter)

Thank you so much for all your help sofar, im really looking foward to the wheels. i start to work for real this summer and ill be able to buy the rims&tires by the beginning of june.

Drag radials are not going to help you in the rain and they don't last very long. If there is a Discount Tire in your area, I would try their national website. You can search by rim size, tire size, and car. I am currently debating what to put on my 2003 16"s, myself.

If you want something that will last get some bfg kdws , if you want cheaper sumitumos will last and are super cheap.

If you go drag radials, don't expect to get an amazing life out of them.

For me, I am looking for performance tires with a mileage warranty. I haven't decided if I want to go to a taller rim than 16"s. If I do, then it will either be 17x8 or 17x9.

I want to see pictures when you're finished. That sounds like a sweet set up.
I've never seen rear window louvers painted, though.

good choice on the tires, we use kumho ecsta's on some of the hyundai's, the average life is around 30K miles, and tread depth new is around 11/32".

and yes, definitely post some pics when your finished.

i've never seen anyone paint a mach1 chin spoiler or rear window louvers
