That does sound like a sweet setup. Here in Dallas, the striped louvers were popular in the late 70's thru the 80's. None of them did it on a Mustang. I've got to see it when your done.

i dont even see the louvers on street stangs so ill really stick out if i have em painted and striped
and ill be posting pictures as each part is installed.
the hood scoop is first then rims n tires. and the rear window louver is next and so on

Cool! Always exciting to get new parts in. When I had mine done, discount tire told me $15-20 per tire to mount and balance, so $60-80. I never went anywhere else though, I got mine done for free by a friend.

+1 The shop where I get my tires includes mount & balance in the price, but that amount is what they would charge if you brought in tires that were not from them, as is your case.

thanks guys i just ordered the tires from tire rack about 2 hours ago, they r shipping it to my nearby tire kingdom, and its 19.50 per tire to mount and balance. i also had to order some locking lug nuts from americanmuscle to make sure no one steals my new wheels the order said they should come in by fridayish, so figure ill have em put on some time this weekend or week

Last update until pictures will be up, im going up north for a gymnastics camp. but i just got the call today that the tires came in, so while im up there my dad is going to bring the rims and car in to have them mounted balanced and aligned for when i come back. pictures will be up sometime next week.

Great rims!!! Isn't it nice how they seem to pull the whole car together!!! I just had rims put on last week - and it was the greatest thing to happen to my car so far!
Congrats and nice work - keep on modding! (BTW - I would look into a $80 American Muscle intake instead of the K&N one...)
