Default Mustang V6 year 2000 rear end vibration

Hi all

Does anybody have this problem..

When driving after about 10 mins ata constant speed the rear end starts to vibrate, when you stop and start again it has gone but then it comes back.

It is as if something gets warm on the rear axle, do they need greasing or anything, the car has done 116000 miles??

Also after regreasing the front caliper slider pins the disc and pads are still binding, is the only solution new calipers and pads

Any help greatly appreciated.

It could be the axle bearings...they are known to wear out.

Thanks guys,

is it an axle out operation or something more simple?

Any ideas about the binding front pads and the calipers, the front right is getting really hot all the time?

Thanks Rob

The caliper might need to be replaced. The pins could be your problem. They need to be free and not binding or it will cause your pad to bind against your rotor. The pins are cheap at any AP store......

Is the mustang v6 year 2000 axle an 8.8 ? and how simple is it to change the bearings?

Any suggestions on who to buy from in the US, Here in Spain I cant get them.

Thanks Rob

V6 Mustangs get the 7.5" rear. As for buying the parts, I don't know of any companies that ship internationally, but try Ebay. There are guys there that have the parts that will ship to you.
