Ok i dont have ther best mechanic skills in the world but i want to know if this is even worth trying (i will be paying a shop to do this if its possible). Ok i have a friend that sadly wrecked his 2008 Gt Stang now he still has his stock suspension parts and the stock exhaust system. I want to know if anything in the suspension i could use on a 1996 V6 mustang (i will be dropping it 2inches pretty soon) and if a muffler shop would be able to take the exhaust system from a the GT and place it in my 96 and if its even worth it??? What type of an improvement should i be able to see in the car if its done???

No in short.

The 05-up Mustang parts are not the same at all. The rear coils on the 05 up cars mount right on top of the axle, where the 79-04 Mustang mount to the lower control arms. Up front the 05 up cars have a sort of factory coil-over, where the 79-04's have a coil spring mounted to a Modified Macphearson strut set-up.

Exhaust is the same story, mufflers mount in front of rear axle on 79-04 cars, 05 up cars are mounted rear of the axle.

Well they did for 25+ years lol, but they had to change it sometime.
