Default 2002 v6 3.8 throtte body screw issues

Alright so ive got my K&N air intake setup. Now i want to put on my BBK 65MM throttle body on. The problem is i can only remove 2 out of 4 screws (on the stock throttle body) completely while the other 2 only the heads come off, while the shaft stays inside the hole. Ive tried to shift or wiggle the stock throtle body thinking it might slide off the screws but is still firmly in place. Help please !

I had the exact same problem with my 2003 mustang. For somereason with out thinking i bought a 70mm accufab throttle body, so it turns out i couldnt get it to fit anyway however i may give it another shot. However the screws were my problem. I ended up taking it to a ford dealership in franklin tn. They installed a new steering wheel for me and although they got the screws off of the old throttle body they could not get the new one to match up. So thats all i got for you. My buddy works at a body shop and would know how to get them out he was going to do it for me orginally. He drives a 03 cobra. Anyway good luck ill give him a call sometime tomorrow and see if he has any thoughts. If no one else has any ideas i ought to have an answer for you by tomorrow. Good luck bud.
