im having a shop make me a twin turbo setup using evo turbos and i want to keep this thing pretty safe (not blowing up ) so i can street it around. what ive been told is that i should not exceed 350 rwhp or i will be risking the internals and i want to know what would be a safe timing to run and if you have any ohter ideas on how to keep it safe let me know
the set up ??? if so the guy is making the pipes for me for 1300 i picked up 2 evo turbos for under 200 a piece with under 20000 miles and no shaft play and new injectors and maf combo @ buyfordracingparts 270 and a bov and a tune 400 or below so under 3grand

holy sh**.
keep us posted on how this turns out, this is interesting to say the least...
how much boost are you trying to run?
well like i said in the begining i was told not to go over 350 at the wheels and what ive been told is boost is just an amount of restriction and not what i should be worried about its the amount of power i will be pushing that will be the problem correct me if im wrong but i could push 30 pounds of bost with a small turbo and make 300 horse power and then push 8 with a big turbo and im just saying boost isnt my amount but if i had to say a number under 10 im gonna try to dial it down to around 330 at the wheels sinse i know this will be capable for far greater

i dont know if your logic is correct, i hardly have any experience with f/i applications but from what i've been told 30#'s is extremely steep no matter how much power it makes. that much boost would probably screw up your compression ratio and blow your head gaskets into next week. but i dont know.
10#'s seems reasonable, it maybe a bit much for stock internals though...just get a good intercooler and a very good tune. i would do a little research on the subject if i were you.
i was not meaning i was gonna put 30# i was just trying to get the point across that i have been told its not the psi its the amount of power im pushing .....and for some reason i uploaded all those pics and it says there not there anyone know why???
