Default V6 mustang exhaust broke..

So i was driving home tonight from my dads house i was on the interstate doin 70mph just driving normal nothing crazy and all of a sudden my car goes from quiet to sounding like im driving a prostock car racing at NHRA races. It was VERY loud so i knew what broke just wasnt sure where. well i got home and popped the hood to find that my header broke..stock headers, car has 85+k miles on it. it just snapped right before the flange. so i am thinking about doing my entire exhaust over again because it needed to be re-hung anyways. here is the set up i am thinking.. feel free to give advice suggestions or comment, anything is appreciated. thanks.

MAC longtube headers

pypes high flow cats(im planning to have an exhaust shop do a job from header back)

and here is one question i had that i cant decide on and need people experience and openions on...

i am wanting to go flowmaster orignal 40's or super 44's i have heard both but they sound almost the same i have only heard orignal 40's in person, on my buddy's 98' GT with no cats so i cant really compare that at all since ill have cats and a V6. I have read that 44's are louder cuz its a smaller case but i have also heard 40's are louder. Which ones sound better on a V6? or just sound better in general??

thanks again.

if i were u id buy ur own mufflers and take them to the shop

some shops over charge mufflers ( for profit ) and will order the ones with out the tips, so u will have to order tips, and they make profit.

now i paid $380 for my mufflers and $160 for install. thats just cut y pipe, run new pipes all the way back

hang nad weld

i cut my own bumper. its a great mod!
