Default Hid Lighting Help

I currently have a 2003 V6 Mustang with several things done to it ect. Anyway two or three months back i purchased HID Lights 10000k and they were really blue however the lighting was decent. However over the past few months ive been having more and more trouble seeing at night. Last week i put on Light Covers for my Head Lights and Tail Lights. Already have new Head Lights From AM. Now my visability at night is damn near 0. It almost looks like i dont have my lights on. The light blends in to the road. So anyway im gonna stay with the HID however in the process of buying new bulbs. What would you say would be the best? 4300k-6000k Range? And which one would be the brighest/best to drive at night with. Thanks for the help.

6000k h.i.d. would be about the same as your stock lights. the 10000k you have should be the brightest
