Default 2002 Mustang ignition problems?Unique.

I drive a 2002 v6 ford mustang. i pulled into the gas station yesterday turned it off to fill it up, came out went to start it up and nothing.
turn the key no power to radio, lights, i checked my battery its running 12.7 volts , i have Know clue what to do, has anyone ever heard of anything like this happening? I have not had any check engine lights or sensors fail i dont understand enough about the way the electrical system works.

I have had no issues with anything except the brakes and starter was literally freezing up this winter. What would cause everything to not work?

did you by any chance check the fusible link in between the alternator and the battery?

I assume you checked for power directly at the battery? Take your meter and pull a fuse at your fuse box. Check both sides of the the fuse holder and to ground. Try this with the key off and then with key on. You should have the same 12.7 VDC that you have at the battery. Look in the owners manual and it will tell you what fuses go to were. This will help with if it is a constant powered fuse or only powered when the key is on. There are also fusible links that could be an open circuit. But this will be a starting point.

It sounds like he has a bad ground, somewhere between the ignition switch and the fuse box in the engine compartment. Check your grounds, Mike. SCT Tuner.

I checked the fusable link it was good. pulled the negative battery terminal off(to hopefully ensure non zappage) played around with battery cables to fuse box, and checked fuses, magically it was fine and good to hook. It was the ground connection. Thanks a bunch for the quick responce i will check in and try and help as much as i can in return.
