Default 1997 V6 alarm issues?? Alarm goes off when remote is used to lock doors.
When I use the remote to lock the car the alarm will go off about five min after. Sometimes it'll take an hour or two but will go off no matter what without any consistency? Any ideas?
I have replaced the battery in the car and the remote. This is the factory alarm so I am a little clueless as of why this is happening?

I guess you will have to take it to the stealership to reprogram or to check it...
