Default Some Questions

I picked up my 94 mustang on friday. It starts and runs good. I am in the process of research for rebuilding the 3.8. I want to get as much power as i can out of that engine. I heard if u swap heads and intake off of a 99 or newer 3.8 u gain power is that true? and it seems as if i have headers on this car. Do these cars come with headers factory? and as far as engine parts like cams and pistons and **** what are my best options.

Swapping your single port for a 99+ split port intake will give you a nice gain. $200? Nice deal.

will the intake bolt rite up? do i want the heads as well? will they bolt up as well?

$200 bucks really??? Man, I get screwed every time. Your car from the outside view looks alot better than mine does, and I didn't trade it for 200 bucks it was more like 5,300 bucks. Lucky you

i have yet to find some one else who when changing their oil ( every 2000 miles or when they get bored ) details the under side of their car.

X-C April 2010,Heads, Cam,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.
The transformation has begun!

They will bolt up, but you have several obstacles:

1. Fuel system needs to be changed to returnless including a new fuel pump.
2. You need the complete top end including emissions hardware, fuel rail, injectors, etc.
3. Gasket kit including new head bolts.
4. You need a tune.
