Default 1999 v6... what do u think about adding nitrous

Ight. I got a 1999 v6 mustang. It has air intake but thats about all. I was wondering what people think about putting nitrous on it. And i was wondering what are the chances of me messing up anything with the engine if i just used a 50 shot. or maybe 100.

Also i was wondering what yall thought would be the best way to gain hp. Maybe cams. or chips.
idk help haha

i wouldnt go with 100 shot id go with 75 just to be safe. for other mods i would def go with a tuner. i have a diablosport and you can feel the difference right away some other good mods are exhaust, headers, rear end gears, torque converter(if you have automatic trans) cam would be good but it will be pretty costly

you would prob see the most difference with a set of gears and a posi or a torque converter, although they wont add hp they will make your car a lot quicker

Tuners are usually "married" to a car by its vin number. It's something like $125 for the manufacturer to change vin numbers. I'm not a nitrous expert, but I've seen a few set ups. You're going to want a window switch, bottle warmer, etc. etc. I'd also strongly recommend a dyno tune to run safely. 91 or 93 octane is a must, too.

ya theres no way you could use someone elses tuner and you would want to get it tuned for nitrous for sure if you dont want to mess too much stuff up, if you get it tuned you will be fine with a 75 shot but 100 might be pushing it, the only thing you might have to upgrade is your rear end, im not sure about that tho

I guess you would need at least a t-lock for your rear end and definitely a dynotune.......

Total cost? $1000.00......
