Hi, I hope someone can help. I have a converable 2003 V-6. Three days ago the map lights started staying on when I would get out of the car. Someone told me it could be a bad fuse. I put in a good 15 amp fuse and no help. Another person told me the problem could be in the door assembly not making proper contact. I traded out for new ones, Map lights are still on. There must be some safety feature in the computer that shuts them off after about an hour??? And yes I have checked to make sure the doors are closed the entire way and that the light switch is turned to the correct position before you asked me that question Has anyone ever had this problem or have any OTHER ideas? There is only 30,000 miles on this baby !

gets worn out and keeps makeing contact.

try turning the headlight switch all the way to the right or left. it should click over. i just figured out that this turns on the map light. if you already knew that then ignore this post....
