ok v6 mustang owners mabe this has happend to you ,i got a check engine light we checked it the code was f1443, thy told me it was the carbon canister. my questions are does it affect my car,performance,mpg or something.they told me i could leave it like that and nothing would happen is that true ?? plz help me

For me the only problem is the check engine light is on because of this. If you do not fix it then you will not know if there is another problem because the light is already on. This could cause you more problems down the road.
I just replaced one and I think it was about $70.00 from Ford.

thats true...
my CEL was on for a couple months for a rear o2 sensor bank2.
so i used my tuner to disable the MIL and i just scanned it every couple weeks to see if anything new popped up.
inconvenient, yeah... but it allowed me to procastinate
