1996 check engine light

My son's 96 v-6 check engine light came on today. Right after we installed a new thermostat. Autozone read it and the ECM detected a rich or lean air/fuel ratio...on engine bank two... listed 5 probable causes....any suggestions?

I'm assuming that you changed the t-stat due to it overheating. Your car will run rich because of heat soak and will cause the injectors to try to add more fuel into the cylinders to control detonation.

Disconnect the battery to clear the code if you did not have them do it already. If it comes on again, let us know the exact code.......
