Default which is Better? H pipe or X Pipe?

i already have a MAC catback but i am looking to put in an h-pipe or x-pipe. i was set on the x pipe, becuase i've been told it has better flow than the H. however i've also been told that the h pipe will give a deeper tone and the x pipe will give a higher pitch/tone. i like the way my car sounds now as it is pretty deep and throaty for a sixer. so i don't wanna loose the deep mellow tone, however i don't wanna sacrifice power either.

It's only a difference of a few horsepower. So it doesn't matter which one you choose. Just do it for the sound

oh and one more thing i just remembered. i have my exhaust in a Y-pipe now, but when i put in the H-Pipe the ends of the h pipe nearest my mufflers won't reach. from what i see i'll need to pipes with flanges to connect between my mufflers and the h-pipe itself. any ideas on where i might be able to purchase these? im looking at the mac h-pipe so i'll have the full mac exhaust, think they'd have those pipes to sell too? or anyone for that matter really..
