well i have the 2004 v6 and it handles well ok i guess but not much better than anything else. i dont want a track car that feels every bump in the road, but i do want to increase my cornering abilty just a little. first off i DO NOT want to lower my car so lowering springs are not want i want. i hardly know anything about suspention so i would like you guys to give me all the imput you have the name of it, what it does and how it does it, what to look for , best brands for the money, and how hard it is to install. i want to put together something that is inexspensive and bumps my handing up a couple notchs. ive heard people say the stock v6 rides like a 4x4 and i just want to make it ride like it should
steeda has one for around $150; it braces your front strut towers so they dont flex under cornering, tightens up the front end a little; and it bolts right on.
another thing you could do would be a sway bar upgrade;
inexpensive route: go to the junkyard and pick up a GT rear swaybar for all of $20
expensive route: upgrade front swaybar and buy an aftermarket rear swaybar; both the front & rear are available in kits.
swaybars limit sideways motion (bodyroll) when cornering by linking both sides of the suspension together.
99-04 V6's are equipped with front swaybars only.
99-04 GT's are equipped with front & rear swaybars.
I picked up a pair of subframe connectors for $50 on craigslist. I'm waiting to put them on when I finish up spring classes and have more time. But I hear they help quite a bit.

do i need to get springs if i get shockes and struts???
they help each other out but I highly suggest that you get a Coil-Over system because you get the same effect as springs shocks and struts but with less weight + great handling + excellent ride quality
ha ha that item is not for sale there lol but would this drop my car becuase i really dont want to drop my car
its coil over so you can set the height of your springs that's why its the best kit for you and its a package so you will be saving money rather then buying one part at a time. they are going out of business or just making people buy their parts in the blow out sale. you can email them I have before they will match any price on the internet sales@stangsuspension.com

lol...
i know im barking up the same tree as everyone else, but lowering your center of gravity is a sure bet to improve handling.
just get it aligned and you would be good.
