Default 1999 Mustang V6 Manual hesitation and shake

Alright, so I know I have posted about this at least four times and everyone has been so helpful.... but the problem still lives! I know we get new members every day so maybe there are a few new faces who have had and resolved a similar problem. Soo here we go...

The issue:

The car shakes violently upon startup like it wants to fight my garage door. It gradually dissapears as the car sits. When I drive the car seems sluggish and shakes ONLY between 1500 and 1800 rpms in EVERY gear. The car feels sluggish... not in a sense of "wow, when did I swap out for a four cylinder" but in a way that if this was your daily driver you would know that something was off. Here is the real head scratcher though.... every so often the problem VANISHES!!! The shake fades away and the car feels like it rolled right off the production line. Just as I celebrate.... BAM it comes right back. WHAT GIVES???

I don't even have the confidence in my car right now to race a corrola.

Fixes so far:

New coil pack
New Wires
New Plugs
Cleaned throttle body
Cleaned MAF
Cleaned EGR
Checked for vacuum leaks
Checked Engine mounts - going bad so the shake is more evident, but not the cause
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR CODES

ARGH!!!!!

Please continue throwing the great advice, many brains are far better than one!!!

Fuel pressure is good, and the fuel filter was changed about a month ago. As soon as I find work again, this car is toast. Trade in time. I cant figure it out so its gotta go!

hmm have you considered some sort of balancing issue somewhere in your drivetrain? the shaking at certain rpms could suggest that i think.. just throwing out ideas

Markstang 690 that is a great idea, and I would definitely look into it if it were not for the performance issue.... that sluggish feeling like I am towing something, although ever so slight, suggests it cannot be so simple.

I'm having the exact same problem as you.

I'm still trying to see how to solve it

I bought my car in December, it was fine, suddenly it started...

ITs not that the car is underpowered, it just 'feels' wrong, like...
you push the throttle and expect it to... knock u back. when sometimes it doesnt, and sometimes it does,...
like the stangy has a mind of its own...
right?

and its only on the 1200 ~ 1800rpm range

*offtopic, does the CAI show any difference than stock intake without the silencer?*

do you plan on changing your engine mounts anytime soon? id do that so u get rid of any unnecessary shaking.. that way any shaking you have is definitely caused by this other mystery problem and not simply the motor mounts being bad

also i assume you do your routine oil changes and other such maintenance? any chance u can put video of this obnoxious shaking?

Well its not THAT obnoxious, its just that... it doesnt speed at its supposed to...

BTW, my local mechanic buddy here told me to get the EFI checked, since MAF is clean, mounts are ok... dunno...

What do you think?

BTW I just changed my oil, like 3 weeks ago

and i'll try to capture it on video

by the way, the sensation it gives, its like... the car's trying to grasp some air, or fuel to just go faster dunno, thats my perception

^ you may want to replace your fuel filter if it's never been replaced.

mattsmustang99, i still have no idea what could be causing your lack of power/shaking... if i had to take a shot in the dark, i would say maybe you have a dragging caliper(s) AND a warped rotor?

lol like i said that's just a shot in the dark...

good luck
