alrite guys so im new to the site and i just got my 98 mustang. i just wanted to know how i can make my motor produce that xtra 45-50 hp like the 99-04 models have. and i already have true dual exhaust and CAI what am i missing?

Well for bolt ones-

Underdrive Pulley
Throttle Body
and a Tune up

of course some 4.10 gears and a TLOK wouldnt hurt. They dont add hp but help acceleration.

You are missing the split port intake and heads. That is the only way you are gonna catch up to the 99+ models with bolt ons.

You are missing the split-port heads and intakes that the 99-04's upgraded to. That is what gave them the extra hp. Take a look around... Their are at least three threads going on about this issue right now so you can easily find info.

modding, keeping track of your build. i recently wrecked my 94 but went and bought a 98 cobra.. you need to get that beast of yours back to the track so i can see more vids and times. how have you been?
