My 1996 v6 mustang overheated yesterday because i ran out of antifreeze and i didnt know, but we just replaced the antifreeze about 2 months ago and the fluids are already gone.
So we checked the thermostat and found out that the gauge went bad and just replaced the whole thing, burped it and, put it all back together and put some more antifreeze in and ran it around the block so the engine would get hot so we could see if everything was working.
when we got back we looked and saw that the radiator/fan? wasnt spinning when i ran the engine, but we tested it by running power directly to the fan and the fan works, but then we tested the power to the cords that connect to the fan we found the we arent getting any power to the red (+) end so we think that the relay is not working?
any clue how to fix the power to the cords that connect to the fan? or which fuse powers those cords?
i cant drive my car until i fix it
