HUGE PROBLEM.......

well a few months ago the tranny wouldnt shift in drive anymore...it would but the car wouldnt move. so i figured out dropping down to the second gear and then thrust it into drive worked for awhile.....well now nothing does what it should on the shifter...the car only starts in drive. runs in reverse while in neutral....and park is drive....there is no more park just my e brake.....please help i think its the linkage but what would that cost to repair? the tranny has 85k on it and was rebuilt at 60k

You need to replace your shifter. There is something stripped in it.

I would first get under the car to investigate before ordering one to make sure it is in proper adjustment......

Oh wait, we have an extra one if you need it......
