Default 1994 Mustang oil pan replacement

Well I was travelling down a hill the other day and struck a raised manhole cover at the foot of the hill witch broke a nice piece from the oil pan of my 3.8 V6 powered 1994 Mustang, was wondering what am I up against in the replacement process I've already gotten a new oil pan. What tools would be required or helpful?

It requires lifting out the motor to replace it.......

It really needs to come out. You have your stock k-member which is wider than a tubular aftermarket one.

ok so I finally got the oil pan off and replaced without removing the motor, I think it would have been easier to remove it though, but now the car just rotates but wont start, it appears as if its not firing? any clues as to what may have happen? I've checked all the connectors associated with the ignition system but still nothing.
