Ive just installed the ZEX kit on my 4.6 with 76K mi with the mods listed. I personally would NOT recommend you install nitrous on your v6. Based on the way my engine handled a 75 shot Im not sure if a 6 cyl. could handle it, unless of course its built up(internals) properly. In my opinion some gears would be a much safe/ beneficial route. If gears are out of the wuestion I would suggest investing some money in either building up your engone or just doing a complete swap.
dude as long as you get a good tuner, your motor is in good shape, and you don't get anything bigger than a 75 shot than you are golden. it would be ideal to go with a 8.8 rear end just incase but i think it would do just fine.

Since, I haven't witness it myself, a former co-worker will only run a stock 6 cyl with a 150 nitrous shot, and quite a few people have vouched that this is true. Talking to him personally, his position is that 6 cyl's are cheap and if it grenades, he has another one ready to install. What's amazing is that he has run his last 6 cyl for two seasons, but keep in mine that we're racing at 5900 ft. His times have been in the high 12's, and I can't say for certian that he is running an 8.8.

Another voice of experience.......
I run about an 80 shot on my '01 with a internally stock motor. Very safe with a good tune on it. Your rear end can handle it, but I would suggest at least a t-lock install. A rear-end girdle would help with end cap flex for even more safety, but not necessary. I just read you have an auto, so the rear end girdle is definitely not necessary.
I believe someone over on V6P was selling 2 nitrous kits at a reasonable price.

To get a good and safe tune, would it require a dyno? Or will a mail tune work just fine?
