Question Kenne-Bell Ram Air Induction Kit

I read this in the Cal-Mustang late Model Catalog,

Quote:
"...force feed your 5.0 and extra dense volume of air. Simple one hour installation; lowers quarter mile E.T. .15 to .20 seconds!..."
They have it priced for a 1994-2002 3.8L V6 for $159.95.

Anyone ever heard of this? I know some people don't believe in "Ram Air" but I do. I know a tenth of a second is just about a car length, but does anyone think its worth the cash? Or will it work with a cold air intake?

Thanks for any opinions.

Unless you plan on spending alot of time above 85mph..... I don't think ram air can add anymore hp that a cold air intake kit.

Yea, I was also reading some more opinions about the 'bumper" ram air kit, you'll speed alot of time cleaning the filter from it.

I have a friend who spend alot of time cleaning it. I fixed his issue with a .5 inch hole chicken wire screen that I fabbed up. It helped keep the larger particles out of his intake. BTW he did suck up water on a couple of occasions too

That is not really ram air. True ram air is position in the area of highest air flow, the hood.

After looking at my car after my dad driving it on the interstate, the front bumper and spoiler are the best places to get the most air.
