Default 1994 Mustang V6-annoying beeping

When ever i turn the car on or to ACC position theres an anoying beep. Its 3 beeps then pauses then 3 beeps again. Kind of like a seat belt beep. It goes away after 4-5 reps, then about 45 minutes of driving itll beep again. I think its the seat belt warning but theres no light and as far as im concerned its all connected right. Any ideas are appreciated.

similar thing happened in my 95 ranger. i could never find where the sound was coming from to unhook whatever it was. previous owner did all kinds of crazy things with the electrical. i think i remember it possibly having to do with the airbag warning and my airbag light was on. mine did 5 beeps, 5 times, every time i turn the ignition on and about every hour while it was on. drove me nuts

if it is the seatbelt reminder, you might can disable it. I have disabled mine but i dont know if its possible with yours, being a different model. just look in your manual and see i guess. it tells how and its really easy and you can go unbuckled all the time with no annoying seatbelt reminder!

It most likely is related to the Airbag. We had a customer looking for the cause of exact same beeping scenario on a 98 ford escort. Ended up being related to the airbag, but sadly, I was not the one who repaired the vehicle. I just did the write up and dash teardown, so I have no clue what to disconnect. Personally I would not just "unclip" the culprit... airbags seem pretty important to me Have it diagnosed and serviced professionally.

i know on my last mustang the air bag light was on and the air bags were disconnected (i found that out the hard way) and i know my seat belt censor was dis connected (it was a great, safe first car) but any how, a very cheep and easy test i would recommend is just test all of your fuses, chances are the one thats responsible for your seatbelt/air bag is blown

i dont quite understand how it could be the airbags, but im guessing it is. the thing is...i had to get new airbags when i got it and they came with an air bag module that i also installed. to me that wouldve shut the beep off but another thing im guessing is that the computer maybe needs to be reset to realize that they have new air bags and module in.

My 2000 Conv did the same thing. It was traced back to the switch inside the drivers seatbelt latch that had gotten something sticky on it, probably coke or...worse, and had gotten stuck. In any case, i couldn't clean it out right so I just pulled the electrical connector off the latch.

Problem solved.

My guess is that this is what has happened to you as well.
