Anything CAN be done. I have seen guys drop a big block ford in the s197. The cologne
trans won't bolt up to the windsor block. You would have to custom install a
trans that works with the windor, like a c-4 or c-6 auto, or a manual like a t-5, t-56 or even a toploader if you wanted to go retro. It is gonna take alot of fabrication though. Custom engine mounts, custom
trans cross member, custom linkages ect.ect.ect. Not a cheap proposition. I for one would sure like to see it though. That would be cool.
