Ok, so the other day I had to pull out the center console to access the top AC vents because the little vent flaps always pop out and fall over. So putting it back together I must have warped something because now there is this annoying rattle. When I press on the trim it goes away. Has anyone ever tried to create a soft gasket or foam padding to quiet these plastic pieces?

yeah use some foam padding, thats what i use.
double check that none of the clips fell out, if one fell out it'll rattle.
This is the problem when you get to the post to late. I had an annoying rattle too and never thought about foam. I just didn't let my wife ride with me any more.
