The Clutch in my 99 v6 kept getting tighter and tighter, to the point of where it sucked to drive it, and finally the pedal snapped from the pressure. It was not the cable that snapped, but when you push the clutch the self adjusting ratchet system pops loose and you cant push the clutch in, because it wont pull the cable (it hangs loose). Someone please help me fix this.

that's your clutch quadrant.
it is self adjusting, it probably kept adjusting and overadjusting until eventually the cable was too tight and broke the plastic. or you may have another issue with your clutch, a siezed up/frozen cable, etc, and that could be what caused your stock plastic quadrant to break. either way, you're going to need a new quadrant.
i would recommend replacing it with a solid 1 piece metal quadrant; if you do that, you will need an adjustable clutch cable OR a firewall adjuster.
I agree, I have had a Steeda adjustible clutch quadrant, cable and firewall adjuster on my GT for over 60,000 miles now since I broke the stock quadrant. It is nice to be able to adjust the pedal.

so wait does the clutch quadrant determine the clutch position as well? i have a bad bushing on my clutch(which next week i'm getting fixed) an i was wondering as to if that quadrant controls how far out your clutch pedal is. cuz mine is really loose and i have a good 7-9 inches to push in before i can shift. does that quadrant thing make the lenght shorter and clutch pedal tighter? if not how do you adjust that?
