Default Turning wheel is causing squeeking noise

Hey guys, it's been a long time. Hope you've all been doing good.
The problem that brings me in today is my steering. During this past winter turning my wheeling to the left or right resulted is a horribly loud noise that almost sounded like nails on a chalk board. I racked it up to the abnormaly cold weather. Well after winter the sound went away and all was fine. However, about two days ago the noise came back, it's not as loud as it was before but there still is squeeking when ever the wheel is turned atleast half way to the left or the right. the noise occurs wether i'm driving or am in park. I checked the power steering fluid and its all the way filled. I have a 2001 mustang 3.8 coupe with 68k on it.

- The handleing in general has been causing some problems too tho. but i'm chalking that up as just needing a front end alignment.

- My car has also been wrecked into a gaurdrail before on the passenger side fender. The men working on it told me that there was a slight crack in the frame from that collision.

Any ideas guys? Bushings? power steering system goin bad?

I had a similar problem i think. Mine turned out to be the ball joint on the left front. Hope you get her fixed up and back into good condition.
