Dude I have the same setup except. I've got the full on uncatted Headerback kit. It sounds way better with cats though (me being retarded I accidentally ordered the wrong one)

I would recomend to anyone doin exhaust on the cheap I'd do a GT Hpipe and 40-44 flows. If sound is mainly what ur looking for and will pay for I'd say Borla muffs with Catted Bassanni X pipe or Catted Magnaflow Xpipe. The very best V6er I've heard was this green one on youtube from florida it had a magnaflow catted xpipe with 40 flows but it had a stroker and was misfireing one of the cylinders.

I installed a Pypes true dual catted system (SF-53)with BBK headers and it sounds great. Like MineralIronHors said, doesn't like an V8 because it's a V6, but everybody likes it.

Where did you buy it from? I've had a hard time finding someone who actually sells the full kit (besides it being posted on Pypes website)...

Yeah I know - I already talked to Nick (AMNick) about trying to get it... so far they only have the o/r version - and it's listed under the 99-04s even though it applies to my 94-98s too...

I've found that Jegs has it (for $680) and blue oval industries (but I won't go there - they have a bad rep!)... but I kinda wanted to support AM and Nick, especialy since they give us deals and everything. But really, I just want to get it from somebody I can trust!

Thanks! ...but sadly, it's the same price as Jegs Oh well, I'll have to bite the bullet someday.

And yeah, they're the same - don't know why it gets split up by year; probably cuz other performance parts are segregated (due to the change to split-port) *shrugs*

It really does depend on the type of sound that you like. I like my car loud. My exhaust goes from my exhaust manifold to my cats and that is it. I cut the rest off. I love the sound of my car. I have tried true dual glass packs, true dual flowmaster 40's, true dual straight pipe w/no mufflers and they all sounded bad, but that is my opinion. I had to experiment and spend alot of money to find the setup that was perfect for me. Hopefully this helps you out. Good luck with your exhaust.

Would like to hear your exhaust miller. I dont think i've heard a setup that way... if i read it correctly. I fully agree with you aswell on really testing exhaust out. It took me 3 tries to get my exhaust the way i wanted it. First went with a single flowmaster 40... i hated it for life. Then went with flowmasters 44 dual exhaust with a X pipe catted.... it just wasn't loud enough for me so i just ended up cutting the cats lol. Its low when im lightly pressing the gas (light to light driving) depending on how much i let it rev up to it can get pretty god damn loud lol. In the end its all up to you on the exhaust
