Default 2000 Mustang v6 cabin air filter?

i was wondering if the 2000's had a cabin air filter.. i heard some cars don't. If we do have one where is it and how do you get to it? Thanks all

only stangs with an a/c filter are the 05+ cars.

then where does the cabin air come from? is it a direct feed from the exterior or does it recirculate the cabin air in a closed system?

i believe it pulls air from outside through the cowl just under your windshield, i suspect this because i had some long pine needles work their way in there into the blower fan and they made noise on the fan blades.

there's probably just a screen or something no actual filter or anything

Excuse me , am I correct in understanding that a 2002 v6 mustang does not have a cabin air filter??

Correct. Only 2005 and newer do.
