Well I have the 40 th anniversary package with cobra mirrors but I did not realize that it is a cobra hood cool
Yes, they put the 01 cobra hoods on the 03 and 04 v6's. I'd still prefer to have a GT hood with a hood scoop, but I guess that's the next best alternative.
Lol! Sorry to hear about the accident with the deer.
I had a situation back in the day where a whole mini herd of dear ran across/jumped over my hood. I think one of them saw that I had my windows down on both ends and thought maybe it could jump through to the other side. Before it leaped through to kill me and my friend on the passenger side in some horrific freak final destination death, I floored it, causing it to slam into my door. I cheese it out of there and see the deer limping off into the thicket by the road.
I step out to check out the damage, nothing but a few smears. You could see where the deer's face slammed on the side.
And to add to this: This happened right after I got pulled over the very first time by my friend's dad. (who's a sheriff) So I got off scott free.
All in all, it was a weird night.
But yeah, at least you're getting a bad ass front end! Every time someone's driving like a loon behind me, a part of me wants them to tap me so I can get a new back end.
