Default t5 question help please im desperate

ok here i go i am doing a v8 swap on my 94 mustang i now know the trans bolt pattern is the same but i have heard from some people i need to change the imput shaft cause it is a little to long and i have a 11inch clutch but the 302 carbed i am using needs a 10.5 inch clutch i am not that smart when it comes to manuals so i need to know if i need to switch imput shaft and if so how and if i need a new clutch because the one in there now is new so i dont want to waste money if i dont have to but i also dont want to get it together and it not work right as it is my daily driver and im on a budget if my other motor hadnt went i wouldnt even go through this

You can use the input shaft and bell from the 5.0 motor too if it longer/shorter. They are the same transmissions. Then you can use either flywheel. Just make sure the balance weights are the same on the flywheel......

how do i know what balance weights the 302 needs so i dont need new clutch??????????????????

Are you putting the 302 in your SN car?

If thats what your doing, then your tranny and bellhousing are fine, no changes. You will need the 10.5 clutch, one for a sn-95 5.0 should work.

As for the flywheel, what car did this 302 come from? If its a non HO, then it needs a 28 oz flywheel, if its an HO (like from a foxbody) then its a 50 oz.
